Bait Stencils

Emergent developed the algorithm and workflow for our client in order to expand their product offering into custom bait stencils for airbrushing. A large majority of the custom baits are hand carved and 3D scanned. The algorithm and software developed had to handle finding the approximate planes of symmetry in skewed and imperfect scanned meshes, creating a tight fitting shell on both sides, and be 3D printable on resin SLA printers.
